Unveiling the Redmi Pad SE: Leaked Specs, Anticipated Price, and First Renders Emerge

Redmi Pad SE Set to Join Xiaomi's Tablet Lineup Following Successful Redmi Pad Debut Last Year. Leaked Details Expose Specs, Pricing, and Stylish Renders.

Xiaomi's foray into the tablet arena began with the Redmi Pad in October last year, and now, the upcoming addition of the Redmi Pad SE is generating excitement. While Xiaomi has kept the Redmi Pad SE's features under wraps, a recent leak has unveiled a wealth of information, including specifications, cost, and design.

Leaked images showcase the Redmi Pad SE, offered in three captivating colors: gray, green, and purple. The tablet boasts an expansive 11" FullHD+ LCD with an impressive 90Hz refresh rate, 400 nits peak brightness, and a pixel density of 207 ppi. Its camera setup comprises a 5MP f/2.2 front-facing lens and an 8MP f/2.0 rear-facing lens. Notably, the tablet introduces the FocusFrame functionality, a feature designed to automatically track subjects during video calls, ensuring they remain centered.

Under the hood, the Redmi Pad SE houses the Snapdragon 680 SoC, accompanied by 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The tablet will launch with the Android 13-based MIUI for Pad out of the box. Its enduring power stems from an 8,000 mAh battery, which efficiently draws energy via a USB-C port at speeds of up to 10W. Impressively, the battery life caters for up to 21 hours of continuous video playback and 12 hours of uninterrupted gaming.

Insider sources claim the Redmi Pad SE sports a sleek metal unibody design and tips the scales at 478 grams. With a thickness of 7.36mm, it boasts a slim profile and retains the cherished 3.5mm headphone jack. Connectivity options encompass Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0, though LTE support and a fingerprint scanner are notably absent. This aligns with the approach taken with the standard model. It's also worth noting that the Redmi Pad SE is fully compatible with the Redmi Stylus for Pad.

The renders also affirm the presence of four powerful speakers, bolstered by Dolby Atmos support, alongside a microSD card slot for seamless storage expansion. Anticipated to be priced around €190 in Europe, the Redmi Pad SE's cost undercuts the European launch price of the Redmi Pad, which began at €279 for the base variant featuring 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.
