Oppo A6 Max Launched in China with 7,000mAh Battery and Rugged Build

Oppo has quietly introduced the A6 Max in China, a mid-range smartphone that combines massive battery life with a durable design. Despite its slim 7.7mm body, the device packs a 7,000mAh battery and weighs just 198 grams. The phone supports 80W fast charging, allowing it to reach 50% charge in just 24 minutes.

  • Display: 6.8-inch OLED, 2800 × 1280 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1,600 nits brightness, supports wet-hand input, protected by Crystal Shield Glass.

  • Cameras: 32MP front camera; dual rear cameras with a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP monochrome sensor.

  • Chipset & Memory: Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, 5,200mm² vapor chamber for cooling.

  • Connectivity: Oppo’s Shanhai Communication chip, dual-band GPS, triple-band Beidou, NFC, and offline communication support.



Durability & Extras



The A6 Max is built to handle extreme conditions, featuring IP66, IP68, and IP69 certifications for dust and water resistance, making it resistant to high-pressure water jets. It has also passed SGS high-temperature certification. For outdoor use, the phone includes extra-loud speakers, boosting audio output by up to 300%.



Design & Colors



The device is available in Streamer White (glass back) and Rock Mist Blue (fiberglass back).



Price & Availability



The Oppo A6 Max (8GB + 256GB) is now available in China for 1,599 yuan (~$220). There’s no confirmation yet on an international release.
