Leaked Poco M4 5G specs: Dimensity 700 SoC, 50MP camera, and 90Hz screen

Earlier this month, Xiaomi said that the Poco M4 Pro 5G smartphone would be driven by the Dimensity 810 SoC, and today the firm introduced the Poco M4 Plus, which would be powered by the Dimensity 700 processor.

The Poco M4 5G runs MIUI 13, which is based on Android 12. It is available in two memory configurations: 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB. It also features a dedicated microSD card slot, which allows for storage expansion of up to 512 GB via external cards.

On the front of the smartphone, there is a 6.58-inch 90Hz FullHD+ LCD protected by Gorilla Glass 3. On the back, there is a notch that houses the 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The panel supports adaptive refresh rate, which means that it can switch between 30Hz, 60Hz, and 90Hz depending on the content type displayed on the screen at any time.

The Poco M4 5G's rear panel, which has what Poco calls a "Hypnotic Swirl Design," is home to two cameras: a primary camera with 50MP resolution and a depth camera with 2MP resolution.

Included among its other notable features are a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone port, Hi-res audio certification from Dolby, USB-C, and an IP52 rating. The entire package is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery that supports wired charging at 18W and reverse wired charging at 5W. The included adapter, on the other hand, has a maximum power output of 22.5W.

There are three color options available for the Poco M4 5G, and it will be available for buy in India starting on May 5 through Flipkart. In India, the pricing of the 4GB/64GB model is INR12,999 ($170/€160), while the price of the 6GB/128GB model is INR14,999 ($195/€185). Those who purchase the smartphone with their SBI credit card, on the other hand, would receive a limited-time discount of INR2,000 ($26/€24).
