Leaked details reveal the specifications of the upcoming OnePlus 12

Upcoming OnePlus 12: Chinese Flagship Successor to Arrive in December, Global Release to Follow

The OnePlus 11, reigning as the flagship device from the renowned Chinese company since its launch in January, is already set to be succeeded by the highly anticipated OnePlus 12.

As per a credible leak from a reliable source, the OnePlus 12 is slated for a December release in China. While it's worth noting that the initial launch will be confined to the Chinese market, the global release is expected to follow suit, albeit possibly with a slight delay of a few weeks or even months.

Early Details of the OnePlus 12: Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, Impressive Camera Setup, and More

The OnePlus 12 is currently in the engineering sample phase, offering a glimpse into its notable features. At the heart of this device lies the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. The phone boasts a sizable 6.7-inch QHD OLED touchscreen with a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate, delivering a visually immersive experience. Powering it all is a robust 5,000 mAh battery, which supports rapid 100W fast wired charging.

In terms of photography, the OnePlus 12 showcases a remarkable triple rear camera setup. It comprises a groundbreaking 50 MP primary lens, a 50 MP ultrawide lens, and a remarkable 64 MP periscope zoom camera. While the inclusion of the periscope zoom camera is a first for the OnePlus lineup, it's worth noting that parent company Oppo has already delved into this technology. Although initial observations suggest limited hardware enhancements upon first glance, with the screen maintaining the same size, resolution, and refresh rate as its predecessor, the utilization of the next-generation chip sets a high standard.

Given that the phone is still in the early stages of development, with a launch scheduled seven months from now, it's important to bear in mind that specifications may undergo changes along the way. Rest assured, as more information becomes available, we will be sure to provide you with further updates.
